are open year round, and the list will have seasonal variations as well as what to bring at any time. We do have a complimentary guest laundry for client use as well.
P.S. Even though we are located in sunny Florida, this doesn’t mean it’s warm all the time. See local weather.

What NOT to bring: Do Not bring suitcases
- Recreational reading material
- Laptop computer or desktop computer**
- Camera
- Mouthwash that contains alcohol
- Vitamins, supplements, powders
- Revealing clothing or clothing that promotes drugs or alcohol
- Foods, snacks, candies, soda pop or energy drinks
* Phone Policy: (Including Cell Phones)
Personal cell phones brought will be placed in the custody of VCS staff while staying at the Vince Carter Sanctuary. Placing outgoing calls on a personal cell phone is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
Outgoing calls may be placed on one of the Sanctuary’s monitored land-line telephones.
** Computer Policy: (Including Personal Laptops and Desktops)
Personal Laptop and Desktop computers are prohibited. Through the approval of the client’s recovery team, we do offer clients the use one of our monitored desktop computers. If a client remains for our Extended Care Treatment Program, the recovery team may extend personal laptop use on a limited monitored basis.
If a client forgets something, or needs something while they are at the Vince Carter Sanctuary, we can very likely accommodate whatever it may be.
